My Meal In The Sky December 1, 2009

Well i wasn’t technically eating in midair but I was eating above ground in a restaurant that feels much like a U.F.O. The restaurant is called, The Encounter. Probably due to its futuristic look and atmosphere. The restaurant is located in an airport near me, but it is about 5 stories up and gives you a fantastic view of the planes taking off and the busy lives of frequent travelers. Here is the main sign and me standing at the front of the elevator that takes one up:
The elevator looks futuristic with buttons that you tap instead of pushing the button in much like a touch screen. Now normally I don’t like fancy restaurants but eating their was not just a dinner, it was an experience. As soon as you arrive and emerge from the elevator you notice where you are. You are five stories above ground with a fantastic view of the planes taking flight right before your eyes as you dine. The tables look futuristic with a hint of retro feel. I absolutely loved it and here are some pictures I took.

Yes it is awesome! I really wanted to go there! At least I get to hear about it from someone who did!
We didn’t really eat at any cool restaurants while in CA (cry)
but we ate with a lot of family friends and that is fun, too
Wow Ilan. This place sounds a lot the space needle on the inside. I’ve been to the space needle quite a few times and it does look quite similar.

my favorite food? hmm…i honestly dont know. french fries? onion rings? but thats not really a food xD

i live like right by there also! my dad is a pilot so whenever we come to pick him up from work and i see that place and im like, LETS EAT THERE
. i never have tho D:. my favorite food…. probobly tacos or double double animal style with grilled onions with a dr pepper and fries at in n out 
That looks cool =] There’s this volcano themed restaurant nearby me. It’s really cool, with like an indoor waterfall =D

That is amazing!!! The only problem is that I’m terrified of heights!
Oh my god, what’s up Ilan? Ok, so I have alot of things to say and I remember though you never really replied to any of my comments but if anyone sees this please remind this to Ilan and tell him or Ilan please send me an email telling me that you at least read this! Ok so some things I must say:
1. Your site is looking really great! I love it and miss it.
2. If you don’t remember me, I was that kid who always made sites and then deleted them because I got extremely bored alot……

i had calamari.. and it was really rubbery and chewy and EWW

but a really cool place
it’s worth the experience.
I wish there was something like that near where I live! It would be cool.
